Greetings:

My name is Robert Wengerd and I'm the pastor of the North Lima Mennonite Church.  I've been serving this congregation for fourteen years.  Prior to that I served a Mennonite church in central Ohio for over ten years.

Life has been an interesting journey.  Earning a bachelor's degree in business administration and having worked in a bank for a number of years, I assumed that my career would be in the business world.  I, however, experienced a growing desire to serve the Lord and subsequently received a clear call to pastoral ministry.

I've been happily married for over 32 years.  My wife teaches high school math and my daughter is a university student pursuing a degree in education.

It's been a delight to be part of the church at North Lima.  We've experienced God in our midst in so many ways.  Whether you've been a follower of Jesus for many years or whether you are just now exploring the Christian faith, I'm sure that you too can grow spiritually in the context of this congregation.
