Worship Service

The weekly worship service takes place at 9:30 AM on Sundays.  A typical service has congregational singing accompanied by piano, organ, flute, keyboard, trumpet, and sometimes drums.  There is a blend of traditional hymns, gospel songs, and newer praise and worship songs.  There are scripture readings, a children's message twice a month, special music, a praise and prayer time, and the pastor has a Bible message.  Twice a month children age 5-Grade 6 have a Junior Church.

Sunday School

Each Sunday at 11:15 AM people of all ages gather in small groups for Bible study.  There are numerous classes for children, there is a class for youth, and there are three adult classes to choose from. Sunday school classes are a great opportunity to not only study together but to get to know each other better.

Prayer Service

A midweek prayer service takes place Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM.  This involves a time of singing, sharing, and praying for needs in the church, the community, the nation, and the world.

Nursery

During the worship service there is a staffed nursery (for children up to 24 months) and a toddler room (for children ages 2-4) available should you want to make use of them.  The rooms, furnishings, and toys are attractive and up-to-date.  Both areas have two adults staffing them each Sunday.

To insure the safety of children the church has guidelines for workers.  If interested, request a copy of Guidelines for Church Workers/Volunteers Who Deal With Children at the North Lima Mennonite Church.  Pagers are available for parents to take with them to the worship service or Sunday School when placing children in the nursery.  During Sunday School those younger than three years old can be placed in the nursery.
