Children

There are numerous opportunities for children.

Each week there there are Sunday School classes for children age 3 through grade 7.  These classes take place from 11:15 AM to 12:00 noon on Sundays.

There is a Kid's Club that takes place at the church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening of each month.  These activities take place from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Each summer there is a Vacation Bible School which typically takes place for five evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

There are also summertime opportunities for attending Camp Luz with other children from the church or community.  The qualifiying age is determined by the camp.  For additional information, go to www.campluz.com.

Youth

There are lots of opportunities for youth to be with other young people for study, fellowship, and fun activities:

There is a Sunday School class just for those in grades 8-12.  This meets after the morning worship service, from 11:15 to 12:00 noon.

There is a youth group for high school age students.  The group is made up of youth from the North Lima Mennonite Church, the Midway Mennonite Church, and the Leetonia Mennonite Church.  There are sponsors from each of the churches that give leadership and the group meets two Sunday evenings per month.

There is a junior-youth group with junior high students from the three Mennonite churches that also meets on Sunday evenings.

There is the opportunity for youth to attend Mennonite Youth Convention which meets for a week in the summer every other year.  In 2013 the convention will take place the first week of July in Phoenix, Arizona.

 Young Adults

Young adults meet at least twice a month on a Sunday afternoon or evening for Bible study, fellowship, refreshments, and fun.  They typically meet in the home of one of the young adults in the group.  Different ones in the group lead the Bible study.

A number of the young adults plan to attend the young adult track of Pittsburgh 2011, the Mennonite convention that will be meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the first week of July.  This will give opportunity to interact with young adults from all across the country.
